A Message From Jesus….Fear Will Lose It’s Grip

Posted on: August 21, 2013

to you with love

“I want you to learn a new habit.  Try saying, ‘I trust you, Jesus’, in response to whatever happens to you.  If there is time, think about who I am in all My power and glory; ponder also the depth and breadth of My love for you.

This simple practice will help you see Me in every situation, acknowledging My sovereign control over the universe.  When you view events from this perspective — through the Light of My universal presence — fear loses its grip on you.  Adverse circumstances become growth opportunities when you affirm your trust in Me no matter what.  You receive blessings gratefully, realizing they flow directly from My hand of grace.  Your continual assertion of trusting Me will strengthen our relationship and keep you close to Me.”

Thanks for sharing that excerpt…. very good advice indeed. Lord bless you!

Forgot to say this about Jesus calling. In 1985 I got Jesus calling from a book store because I was getting messages from God and thought it was weird. The lady in the book store suggested that book. I was amazed! I used those messages to give other people messages for months and then I learned to hear God speak to me and gave people messages that I heard from God myself. I have given messages to many people over all these years. God calling is a big inspiration to me and VERY dear to my heart.

That’s awesome. It really is a great book. The book sure helps me in times when I need to hear His voice. It also helps me realize when He is speaking to me because alot of what she says I have heard myself. God bless!

Great blog today…love the picture!

I have read Jesus Calling every day for the past 3 years. I love how each day it seems fresh and new and usually tailored for my day. blessings to you!

Thats awesome. I just bought it the other day and I can’t put it down. I always need alot of encouragement for some reason. My next book will be about Who I Am In Christ. I need strenghtening in this area. I let too many people and circumstances affect my joy and happiness. God is working I can feel it! Many blessings to you this day friend! 🙂

Despite my upbringing, later in life I fell into a life of self destruction which led me down many dark paths. I am a recovering addict and alcoholic and I have a great passion for Christ and His amazing power to heal even the worst cases. I am living proof of the miracle of God's power to change your life and way of thinking. Nothing is impossible with God.
